Which media does each camera take?

ALEXA 35 records to Codex Compact Drives (1 TB / 2 TB). ALEXA Mini LF and ALEXA Mini use Codex SXR Capture Drives (Mini LF also takes Compact Drives with the adapter). AMIRA records ProRes to CFast 2.0 cards. Always add roughly 20% headroom over the calculated total when ordering media — reloads never land exactly on card boundaries.

On the ALEXA 35 at 4.6K 3:2 open gate 25 fps, ARRIRAW runs at roughly 4,838 Mbps — about 2.2 TB per hour. At 4K UHD 25 fps it is about 1.25 TB per hour. The ALEXA Mini LF at LF 4.5K open gate 25 fps records about 1.9 TB per hour.

How much data does ProRes on an ALEXA 35 use per hour?

At 4K UHD 25 fps: ProRes 4444 XQ is about 935 GB per hour, ProRes 4444 about 617 GB per hour, ProRes 422 HQ about 410 GB per hour and ProRes 422 about 275 GB per hour.

How many minutes fit on a 1 TB Codex Compact Drive?

On the ALEXA 35 at 25 fps, a 1 TB Codex Compact Drive holds roughly 28 minutes of ARRIRAW 4.6K open gate, about 97 minutes of ProRes 4444 at 4K UHD, or about 146 minutes of ProRes 422 HQ at 4K UHD. A 2 TB drive doubles those times.
